Forbes & Co, 6 Union St., 1885 - 1893

A nice vignetted portrait, the reverse of which shows the exhuberant extent which designs reached in the late 1880s. This design of this cabinet card, which we can see was registered by 'C. E. & C.' was very popular, and appears on other Glasgow cdvs and cabinet cards. (eg see the examples from Armour, and Steven). There does not seem to have have addresses at No.s 2 and 4 Union St., so that No. 6 was effectively on the corner of Argyle St..
