Gibb & Co., Photographic Publishers, 1860s?

Two antique but high quality images from a company known only from these cdvs. The gentleman in the first, with his non-matching jacket and trousers, and the lady with her ribboned hair held tightly over her ears, place the photo in the very early 1860s. The gentleman in the second in an unusual pose directly facing the camera, in front of a somewhat askew backdrop, has also fine sideburns. This card may have been trimmed at the top, has the same reverse design as the first, and is similarly thin at 0.012".
