A pleasant picture showing a ghost of a smile, unusual in earlier times when long exposures made holding a smile difficult. It is not easy to date within the period, though the gold bevelled edge occurs mainly after 1885.

By a similar argument, the cabinet card below probably comes from the last years at this address, though the banner design at the bottom, and indeed the image, would not be out of place later, if in fact the card came from Adamson Brothers at a later date.
